The Future of Technology

Technology has proved to be a great help to the world for example, after the 9/11 attacks robots were used to sort through the debris. Today many computer scientists are working on different projects that can make dangerous situations easier. One of these projects is the “swarmbots” created by James McLurkin. The “swarmbots” are a great contribution to technology because in each “swarmbot” there are a dozen of small robots that work together to accomplish an assignment. With robots, finding survivors after an earthquake can be easier. For example, McLurkin’s “swarmbots” were created for these types of assignments which is why they are so small. Another great robot is the “Dynamic Brain”, created by Mitsuo Kawato, which was made to better understand the functions of the brain. If these types of robots can be created today, imagine what we can create in the future.
